We are honored to welcome Focco Vijselaar, one of the Netherlands’ most influential economic policy leaders.
Focco is Director of VNO‑NCW and
General Director of the joint work organization of VNO‑NCW and MKB‑Nederland, a role he has held since April 2023. Prior to this, he served as Director‑General for Enterprise & Innovation at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (2018–2022), and previously as Director of General Economic Policy / Chief Economist at the same ministry as well as Director of Foreign Financial Relations at the Ministry of Finance.
Having spent decades at the heart of Dutch economic strategy- shaping policy on innovation, enterprise, digitalization, and sustainable industrial development – Focco will explore what the route to future prosperity demands from leaders today. From strengthening the innovative capacity of the economy to enabling digital transformation and supporting sustainable industry, he brings a unique perspective on what will define economic success in the coming decade.
This session will offer a forward‑looking view on how you as a CFO can co-create the conditions
for long-term prosperity within our economic ecosystem – and how to build a legacy that lasts for generations.
