CFOs with impact-Next Generation Event
The CFOs with impact-next generation series is designed to adress the changing business landscape and offer a platform for next generation finance leaders to make a sustained impact beyond financial results.
The forum aims to explore top-of-mind issues and challenges related to making a positive impact in business and society. Through sharing achievements, challenges and perspectives participants can collaborate and think through the needed development of the finance function to not only adap to the future but excell in it. Together we will create the CFO role of tomorrow.
Navigating uncertainty and developing your leadership
During our first session we are proud to welcome Air France KLM CFO Steven Zaat. Steven became Group CFO in 2021, after previously serving as CFO of Air France. He has led the company through Covid, government rescue packages, the energy crisis, geopolitical turmoil, and significant macro-economic challenges.
In this session, Steven will share his most important lessons learned during this period. He will also reflect on how he has seen the role of a board member and CFO change and how he expects it to evolve in the coming years. How should companies respond to today’s uncertainty? How does he view the future of doing business in Europe, what changes does he hope for, and what does he realistically expect? And what key differences does he see between France and the Netherlands?
Afterwards, we will have a discussion on the most important developments and uncertainties facing our companies in the mid to long term future. What do we see happening? What are the strengths and weaknesses of each leader at the table when it comes to navigating uncertainty? How do they want to develop their leadership, and what do they see as their biggest challenge in doing so?
