Fireside chats
During the so-called ‘Fireside chats’ we will discuss specific and contemporary topics with a small group from different disciplines. These discussions will take place in a confidential and homely atmosphere, where the Chatham House Rules apply.
GFS meets Finance
During this fireside chat Umicore shares its GFS (Global Finance Services) journey. What have been the biggest challenges so far? What are the most important lessons learned? What are the next steps? What will be scaled up? What will be expanded? Will the organisation move to GBS (Global Business Services)? Hear from Elsje Verdoodt, Head of Global Finance Services at Umicore and Benoit Stevens, VP Group Controlling and Accounting at Umicore about their experiences and view. And on what Elsje expects as Head of GFS from the rest of the finance organisations and what Benoit expects from Elsje and her team. Afterwards we discuss the experiences and challenges of the different organisations at the roundtable
